How to search
- If looking for a specific title include both the title name and author for an accurate return.
- If you are interested in a particular area and want to browse our stock use ‘Keywords’. For example for Scottish books type Scottish, or if you are looking for a particular area such as Kintyre type ‘Kintyre’. We also keep a large selection of religious books for which you would simply type ‘Religion’. Easy huh!
- When you find a book you wish to purchase either send us an email or follow the online instructions to leave your details on a secure page. We receive notification of the order within 24 hours and will contact you to confirm the details.

Terms of Sale
- We accept most major Credit cards apart from Diners Club and American express. For sales under £5.00 23pence will be added to cover card charges. Cheques are welcome in STERLING only. Dollars and Euro’s can be accepted as CASH only.
- Books are usually sent within two working days. Standard size Paperback postage costs are £1.50 for the first book and 50p thereafter (Uk only). Standard hardbacks are £2.50 for the first book and 50p thereafter (UK) The other areas of the world and other book sizes we weigh and quote accordingly.
- Books over £40 are sent insured at no extra cost to the Customer. Under £40.00 can be insured at the Customers expense.
- In the case of books lost in the post (we send about 80 books a week and loose on average 4 a year) we will offer a refund.
- If the book is not as described then we will accept it back as on rare occasions a flaw may slip through the net. Please contact us BEFORE returning the book though. No returns are accepted on books described as Fair or Worn (good reading copy). In cases of return we will refund the customers postage costs.
